This place is located on McCully Street. Next to what used to be Torae Torae. They have an expanded menu now that features nigiri, sushi rolls, dons, steak, garlic shrimp and etc. They are always very nice and efficient. It's a very small place and parking is limited but since it's take out only cars will leave soon if you're patient. I would suggest to call before going especially during the peak hours so you don't have to wait. Prices are very affordable for today's world and quality is awesome for what you're paying. Check it out if you're in the area.

My daughter told me about this place....ONO eats ! Such Variety ! And reasonable prices!!! Everything we have had is great! And i just took menu pics cause the moment i get my food i want to devour !! its a take out place no seats - but so good!!

I've always wanted to try Upscale and was surprised Sushi Company serves Upscale's plate lunches. Sushi Company was located next to Izakaya Torae Torae and across the street from Mio Pastalogy. During lunch break, I called to place a take out order and they said it will be ready in 10-15 minutes. I ordered the signature ahi steak with bomb sauce. The shop was small. There aren't any seatings. You can see the kitchen behind the counter is spacious and neat. This is more of a grab and go place. Signature ahi steak: The ahi steak was cooked perfectly and it was fresh. No fishy smell or taste. It was also big with a thick cut. There was a generous amount of rice under the ahi and an extra scoop on the side of the plate. The plate also includes a side salad with papaya seed dressing and a wedge of lemon. The ahi has a generous amount of their bomb sauce with some roasted garlic cloves. The plate was delicious and filling. Their bomb sauce was amazing. It goes so well with the rice and ahi. The garlic cloves were soft and buttery. I thought there was a lot of rice but I actually finished the whole plate and ate all the rice to finished up the bomb sauce. Overall, a nice hole in a wall place for plate lunches. They also serve sushi bowls and rolls. Definitely will be returning to try other things on their menu.

I swear I come here once a week....the happy hour discount after 4PM cannot be beat. Friendly staff. They pretty much have everything, including Upscale Menu...yea buddy no need drive all the way to Kalihi to get your fix. Just come through and they got you covered. I usually go with the Spicy Ahi Don with Tempura or switch it up with the Fried Poke/Garlic Shrimp Upscale entrée. They even have Poke, but for me it was ok. They have all types of bentos and sushi rolls. Follow them on IG to see what they got cookin'!

I've never personally visited Sushi Company, but have eaten their garlic chicken bento. It is downright delicious! The chicken is thinly sliced and filled with garlic. Make sure you have a mint after! You get California and kappa maki sushi with your bento along with a bed of rice under the garlic chicken. It is pretty affordable for the quality of food that you receive. Sushi company is on my to-visit list in the near future! I am excited to try other items that they have on their menu.

Still a great option for take out. I wasnt sure if the upscale hawaii had been removed but now it's back. I had the ahi katsu roll (side order) and a garlic ckn hand roll. Both were great but i would prefer maybe a different option for sauce on the ahi katsu. Lots of choices tho including poke bar.

I am a fan of this mom-and-pop sushi shop. Solid sushi at reasonable prices. I highly recommend their garlic chicken bento, which is around $10. The garlic chicken is very tasty and the accompanying maki is yummy too. I also like their spicy ahi bowl, which is also around $10. Good flavor and cheaper than at other similar shops. They offer 10% off (happy hour) after 4pm.

Our go to place for take out bento when we on our way to see our daughter performance up the street. Always quick service and made to order bentos. Consistency of their bentos year after year is what we like the most, taste always the same. We normally go for the bentos to go, but also order their sushi platters for New Years Eve, they have the best sushi platter with great assortments (nigiri always fresh). Prices have gone up in recent, but its worth the price, our fav is the Karaage chicken (cooked while you wait) bento and they do have specials in-store.
